Karl Watson: Maestro of Melody, Blending Notes

Karl Watson, a multifaceted musician and dedicated educator, has crafted a rich and diverse musical journey. With a prowess that spans saxophone, clarinet, and violin, Karl’s freelance musical ventures have added vibrant notes to the musical landscape.

Since 1998, Karl has served as the Chief College Lab Technician in the Music Department at Lehman College, where his technical coordination skills have played a pivotal role in shaping the musical environment. Simultaneously, he has been imparting his knowledge and passion for music as a teacher. His commitment to education is underscored by his academic background, having studied Music & Music Education at Lehman College and the University of Rhode Island.

Karl’s managerial acumen found expression during his tenure at the Westchester Band, where he served as Manager from 1988 to 2011. He has also lent his musical talents to esteemed ensembles such as The Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra and the Yonkers Military Band, further enriching his musical portfolio.

Hailing from Woodlands High School in Hartsdale, NY, Karl’s musical journey began early, paving the way for a lifelong dedication to his craft. Currently residing in Yorktown Heights, New York, Karl continues to be a vibrant force in the musical community.

Notably, Karl Watson is not only a behind-the-scenes maestro but also a performer who graces the stage with guest appearances alongside the electrifying 50 Amp Fuse band. His musical versatility and unwavering dedication to both education and performance mark Karl as a true virtuoso in every sense.
