Steven Brybag: Unleashing the Electric Energy, One Strum at a Time
Steven Brybag, born on November 3rd, 1978, in the vibrant city of Brooklyn, New York, has etched his name into the music scene as one of the dynamic guitarists for the renowned band 50 Amp Fuse.
Growing up in the heart of Brooklyn, music was woven into the fabric of Steven’s daily life. Fond memories of car rides with his father, who always had the sound of rock filling the air, or his mother unwinding after a long day with the soothing tunes on the radio, laid the foundation for his deep appreciation of music. However, it was in middle school that Steven’s musical journey took a pivotal turn when he was selected for guitar classes, leaving an indelible mark on his soul and fostering a lasting love for the instrument.
Life took a turn for Steven when he became a father at a young age, necessitating a temporary hiatus from his musical pursuits. During this period, he honed his skills as a Carpenter in the local union. Fate intervened when he crossed paths with Angelo, a fellow union worker and exceptional guitarist. Angelo, recognizing Steven’s untapped talent, encouraged him to dust off his old acoustic guitar. This encounter marked the beginning of Steven’s transition into the world of electric guitar and heavy metal music. Together, they formed Corroded Roots, a classic metal cover band, solidifying a lifelong friendship.
The turning point in Steven’s musical journey occurred when he crossed paths with Michael Charter, the lead singer of 50 Amp Fuse. United by their shared passion for The Rolling Stones, Steven and Michael embarked on a musical journey that would see them channeling the energy and memories of this iconic band. Their mutual love for The Rolling Stones laid the foundation for the formation of 50 Amp Fuse, a band that pays homage to the timeless classics that hold a special place in both their hearts.
For Steven Brybag, music is not just a melody; it’s a narrative that intertwines with the fabric of his life. Grateful for the opportunity to share the stage with talented musicians, he and his bandmates in 50 Amp Fuse continue to bring the magic of The Rolling Stones to audiences, creating memories that echo the spirit of rock and roll.
